Dolphins, whales and porpoises
The Moray Firth is one of the most important areas in UK waters
for cetaceans - whales, dolphins and porpoises. It supports the
only known resident population of bottlenose dolphins in the North
Sea - about 130 of them at present.
There are many boat operators to take you on a tour of this area
and allow you to view these incredible mammals in their natural
habitat.
